How it works
Each set in the extension has a "Search everywhere" option at the top of its right-click menu. Pick it, and your selected text is sent to every search engine in that set. Each engine opens in its own new tab; you tab through the results to compare.
The order of the new tabs mirrors the order of engines in the set, so you can arrange your most-trusted source first and work down from there.
Common multi-search workflows
- Research — Wikipedia + Google Scholar + a regular search engine, all on one highlight. Useful for research-heavy reading where you want both context and primary sources.
- Coding— Stack Overflow + GitHub + the official docs of whatever framework you're in. Error messages, function names, and library names get the same three-pronged lookup every time.
- Shopping— Amazon + the manufacturer's site + a review site like YouTube or Wirecutter. A product name fans out into a price check and a reality check at once.
- AI prompting — ChatGPT + Claude + Perplexity. Send the same selection to all three and compare answers side by side.
Sets keep multi-search organized
Multi-search would be chaotic if your right-click menu held every engine you've ever added. That's what sets are for. Create a "Research" set with three engines, a "Coding" set with three more, an "AI" set with your favorite chat models — then switch between sets from the toolbar popup. Only the active set's engines are in the right-click menu at any time.
Limits
The free plan supports up to 25 engines per right-click menu. Most multi-search sets are 3 to 6 engines, so this is rarely a real ceiling. Pro removes the limit entirely.
