When does Pro ship, and what will it cost?
Pro ships with v3.1, targeted for Q3 2026. Pricing is announced at launch — and the free plan stays free either way. There is nothing to buy today.
What happens to the free version?
Nothing you rely on goes away. Free keeps right-click search, fan-out, the 200+ engine catalog, custom engines, and up to two sets — for good. One heads-up: v3.0 lets everyone try a couple of Pro features for free as a preview (the in-menu set switcher, find and replace in URLs). Those become Pro-only when v3.1 ships, and the extension warns you in-app well before anything changes.
Does the extension phone home?
Once per search: a small usage event goes to Google Analytics (the domain of the engine you used and your browser language — never the text you searched), under a persistent random install ID. No account needed. Pro adds a minimal license check on launch (license key → status), and sync rides on your browser's own sync — it never touches our servers.
